| We are a small friendly yard that specialises in breeding and producing Ponies and horses for competition/ Pony Club. All our horses and ponies are brought on slowly following the German scales of training. This ensures that they become confident, happy and supple, giving them every chance of reaching their full potential in the future. |

Key to any ponies success is its temperament and its willingness to work. It is also of great importance to us that their riders are given correct training. To this end we also offer tuition and livery to help develop harmony between pony and rider.

| We can also offer a limited amount of training on one of our schoolmasters to help riders to feel the correct way of going before moving on to one of our younger ponies. |

Silkwell Stud is based in 17 acres of rolling Buckinghamshire countryside to the north of Aylesbury. Facilities include 15 stables and a 25m X 50m arena. There is full 24hr supervision as we live on site. All our ponies are treated as individuals and enjoy regular turn out all year round. To help keep our ponies in optimum condition they benefit from equisage and reiki treatments. |
